If Mumbai boasts of being located near Goa, then Delhi is surrounded by several cool hill stations that people run off to during the summers. So here are some of the best options for weekend getaways from Delhi. Not only are these destinations situated near Delhi, but the climate is also pretty cool and pleasant during May. Take your pick!

Located approximately 250 km north of Delhi, Rishikesh is one of the most chilled out destinations in India. Slowly evolving as a hippie paradise, Rishikesh is a place that is best for those interested to try their hands on Yoga, the spiritual ones and the adventure enthusiasts.
